Winter, The Deer & The Rabbit

In this two-panel book, I wanted to allow the viewer the chance to ponder the scene and its characters. How might they be interacting with one another? How do they live within their environment? What might each individual be thinking about? This piece is inspired by a children’s book I loved as a child which had no words, only pictures. Its illustrations held their own story, allowing each viewer to author their own tale.
