Jekka's Medicinal Herbs
This is a redesign I created of the book Jekka's Medicinal Herbs. I worked as an art director in collaboration with Jenn Salmon, an Illustrator, to create a set of engaging, updated illustrations. I typeset the book and crafted hand-drawn typography to build a system for chapter dividers. Each collage of beautiful words is unique to its respective topic (i.e.: Yarrow, Harvesting, etc). This redesign targets the more modern, sophisticated, creative, and dedicated herbalist. Think Urban Outfitters, meets your locally-owned garden center. A must have for any urban community gardener!
