This is a catalog I designed for the Wedge, a community-owned organic and natural foods cooperative in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I was inspired by the sustainability of cooperative principles, which include bulk purchasing to cut out middle men, reduce waste, and save money. This practice promotes the well-being of the community and its environment, while instilling a sense of trust in the brand audience.
This deliverable introduces shoppers to bulk foods, an area of grocery shopping that they may not have much experience with (even as return customers). The printed catalog is designed to fit easily into a pants pocket or small purse, making it easy to carry while shopping, as a quick-reference guide. Inside, the user finds a visual database of each product, description of uses, and shows them where they can save money on items they already use while encouraging them to try new options.
